The Writing of a Book

Set in the mountains of North Carolina, my story is an historical novel about a young woman caught between two very different worlds. The time is 1838, and her two worlds are about to shatter, courtesy of the Trail of Tears. I've done lots of research for this book, on the web, through family records, in books, interviews, even listening to old music. I thought I'd post a sampling of the websites that have been helpful in my research. Hope you find them as interesting as I did.
